Our Ministries

Christian Education

The Christian Education Ministry at King Moravian Church provides many opportunities for members and visitors to learn, explore, question, grow and celebrate their Christian faith. Inquirer's Class

This is a seasonal class offered by Rev. Doug Rights and is designed for visitors and those wanting to learn more about the Moravian Church.

Worship

11:00am- Sunday mornings

Since 1925 King Moravian Church has been a vibrant center of worship and celebration.  The King Congregation began its journey as a small group meeting at the home of Simeon and Lula Grabs Pulliam and now welcomes over 300 members in its growing ministries.  Through generations of faith, the church has expanded to include a new sanctuary, 3 floors of classrooms, the Minnie Grabs Boyles House (Youth House), and the renovated Pulliam House that now serves as the church offices.  King Moravian Church continues to celebrate a rich history and tradition through our worship services which include music, liturgies, scripture and prayer.  The entire year is punctuated by active rejoicing, which includes our beautiful Christmas Eve Lovefeast and Candle Services as well as our Easter Sunrise service at God’s Acre where the community can hear echoes of our voices “The Lord is Risen Indeed!”

Children's Worship (children in Kindergarten-3rd grade)

Twice a month, children in K-3rd grades are invited to leave regular worship when the Pastor directs for their own simple worship and lesson upstairs on the 3rd floor of our CE Building.
